Latest Updated 24/02/2024: BPSC released subject-wise vacancies for the third phase of teacher appointment on Friday. In this phase, there will be restoration on 87774 posts. Of these, 28216 posts have been created in classes 1st to 5th (primary), 19645 in classes 6th to 8th (middle), 16970 in classes 9th to 10th (secondary) and 22373 posts in classes 11th to 12th (higher secondary). Apart from this, 65 posts have been created for special teachers.


Reserved posts: In primary classes, 15359 posts are reserved for men and 12567 posts are reserved for women. Whereas in the middle, 11007 posts have been reserved for men & 8638 posts have been reserved for women.

According to the vacancies released by BPSC, the maximum number of seats in the Faculty of Arts are in History subject. This time examination for a total of 56 subjects will be conducted. In this, there will be examination of three subjects in first to fifth, eight in sixth to eighth, 15 in secondary and 30 in higher secondary. Commission Secretary Ravi Bhushan said that vacancies have been received from the Bihar Education Department. For the resumption of the third phase, the examination will be held in different phases between 7 to 17 March. Admit card will be issued one week before the examination.


More than four lakh applications have been received so far and four lakh 34 thousand candidates have registered in the third phase. More than 4 lakh 20 thousand 630 candidates have deposited the money. So far, more than 4 lakh 5 thousand have filled the form to appear in the final examination.

Bihar Public Service Commission has released vacancies for a total of 318 posts of Block Horticulture Officers under the Horticulture Directorate under the Agriculture Department. Vacancies have been issued for these posts for the first time. Applications will be available from March 1st. The last date is set for March 21. In this, 110 posts have been reserved category wise for women. The basis of selection will be written examination and interview. In this, there will be a total examination of 800 marks including 100 marks in General Hindi, 100 marks in General Knowledge, two papers of 200 marks each in Horticulture/Agriculture Science. Questions will be objective. The number of questions will be 100.


Bihar Agricultural Service Exam Admit Card released


The written examination of Bihar Agricultural Service is to be held from March 1 to March 4. 50 thousand candidates will participate in it. BPSC has uploaded the admit card of the candidates to appear in the examination on the website. Information related to the examination has been made available on the website of the Commission. Applicants will have to follow the instructions given. Applicants who do not do so will not be allowed to appear in the examination.


Application date also extended


The Commission has also extended the application date. The date of registration and payment with no late fee is till 26th February. The last date for the online application has also been extended from 23 February to 25 February. Commission Secretary Ravi Bhushan said that the application date will not be extended now.
