Latest Updated 16/02/2024: Forms will start being received from 18 February for admission in session 2024-25 in all the Chief Minister's Excellent Schools of the state including Dhanbad. The form will be submitted by 3 March. For nomination, the entrance examination will be conducted by the district level selection committee on 11 March. The question paper will be prepared by JCERT (Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training).
In this regard, Jharkhand Education Project has released the enrollment schedule. Admission will be taken in schools for classes one, six and nine. Let us tell you that CM School of Excellence has got CBSE recognition. Scrutiny of forms will be done on 4 and 5 March. The first selection list will be released on 20 March. Nomination will take place from 21st to 31st March. Classes for the new session will be started after an orientation program on 1 April.

There will be admission of 40-40 children in Kindergarten and Class 1. The age limit for Kindergarten is five years and for Class 1 is six years. Enrollment of 40-40 children will be taken in both the classes. Class 6 in 48 Chief Minister Excellent Schools from class 6 to 12, Class 9 in 27 Chief Minister Excellent Schools from class 9 to 12 or Class 1 in the five Chief Minister Excellent Schools running from Class 1 in the current academic session 2024-25. Nominations will be taken for. In the Kasturba Gandhi Girls Residential Schools included in the elite schools, the selection process for 25 seats out of the total sanctioned 75 seats in class 6 will be done by the District Level Selection Committee through a selection examination.
Admission in 11th on the basis of 10th marks
Instructions have been given to prepare a merit list on the basis of marks obtained in class 10 and take enrollment in class 11. Enrollment in Science, Arts and Commerce stream in class 11th will be decided on the basis of availability of teachers in the school, classrooms and applications of the children.
Important information
● Only those children whose parents reside in the respective district will be enrolled in Kindergarten and Class 1.
● Children of parents residing in nutritious areas of minimum 2 kilometers and maximum 7 kilometers from the school will be enrolled.
