Latest Updated 13/02/2024: On Monday, the National Testing Agency released the final answer key of the first phase of JEE Main examination for admission to the country's NITs. JEE Main result can be released any time. Candidates can download the answer key from the website ttps://jeemain.nta.ac.in/.


After considering the objections received from the candidates, NTA has removed six questions, out of which three mathematics and three physics questions are from different shifts. In the examinations held in 10 shifts over five days from 27 January to 1 February, there were answers to 33 questions on which students had lodged objections. But after objection, NTA has removed six questions.

NTA Senior Director (Examination) Dr. Sadhna Parashar said that the provisional answer key was released on 6 February.


Opportunity was provide to lodge objections on the answer key till 9 February. The objections received were examined & necessary corrections were made and the final answer key was prepared & released. A total of 6 questions have been removed. Students are provide extra marks for these questions. These questions have been removed after examining the objections lodged by the applicants on the answer key.


Merit list will be released after the April session


The merit list of JEE Main 2024 will be released after the final session April examination, students who will appear in both the first and second session examination will get All India Rank based on the session in which they get higher marks.
