CBSE Board Exams 2024: start from today latest news update
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the 10th and 12th board exams from Thursday. The 10th exam will be held from 15 February to 13 March and the 12th exam will be held from 15 February to 2 April. 15 minutes will be provide to read the question paper. Candidates have been asked to reach the center one hour before the scheduled time. On Thursday, there will be exam for painting subject for class 10th students and entrepreneurship subject for class 12th. The examination for main subjects of class 10th will start from 21st February and that of class 12th will start from 19th February.
For class 10th students, Hindi subject exam will be held on 21st February, English exam on 26th February, Science exam on 2nd March, Social Science exam on 7th March, Mathematics exam on 11th March and Computer subject exam on 13th March. Whereas for class 12th students, the Hindi subject exam will be held on 19th February, English exam on 22nd February, Chemistry exam on 27th February, Physics exam on 4th March, Mathematics exam on 9th March and Biology exam on 19th March.

3.2 lakh students will attend 272 centers in the state
A total of 3.2 lakh students from the state will appear in the 10th and 12th board exams. A total of 55 thousand students of class 12th and 1.4 lakh students of class 10th will participate in 272 centres. There will be no entry at the examination center after 10 am.
Students will appear in regular school uniform only: In the guidelines issued by the board, students have been asked to appear in the examination in regular school uniform only. Along with this, students have been instructed not to bring food items to the examination centre.
