Notice to 20 doctors missing from PMCH Patna latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 06/01/2024: In Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), action is being taken against doctors who do not report for duty on time. On Friday morning at 10.30 am, once again hospital superintendent IS Thakur arrived for a surprise inspection. During inspection, 20 doctors were not found present.
One day's salary will be deducted for doctors who do not attend on time
Show cause notices have been issued to the missing doctors and the reason for not being in the hospital on time has been asked. According to the information, the missing doctors include postgraduate (PG), senior resident, assistant, associate and professor doctors. Instructions have been issued to deduct one day's salary of PG and senior resident doctors.

Whereas a letter has been written to the Principal of PMCH for disciplinary action against doctors above senior resident doctor. Let us tell you that the PMCH Superintendent had come to conduct a surprise inspection on Friday. On Thursday also he had conducted a surprise inspection at 10.30 am, where the salaries of five doctors found absent have been withheld.
