Live News Update: JSSC Assistant Professor Recruitment Exam for 26001 posts will be postponed
Latest Updated 02/01/2024: Assistant Professor Joint Competitive Examination for 26,001 posts in Jharkhand will be postponed. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) may release the notice of postponement of the examination this week. According to the information released earlier by the Commission, the written examination is scheduled from 12 January to 31 January.

After the instructions of Jharkhand High Court, now CTET and TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) pass candidates of other states are also to be included in this examination. In this regard, the School Education & Literacy Department is amending the primary school teacher recruitment rules. After amending the rules, it will have to be passed by the cabinet. After that it will have to be sent to JSSC through Personnel Department. JSSC will take applications from CTET pass and TET pass candidates from other states on the basis of revised rules. A certain time limit may be fixed for this.

JSSC can give 10-15 days time to these candidates. After that, there will be a written examination for the previously applied applicants as well as the newly applied CTET & TET pass applicants from other states.
