What is data science
Under this, any data is analyzed and information is extracted. Data Science Statistics uses principles and techniques from many fields such as mathematics, statistics, information theory, information technology, etc. Data science is also used in cyber security. It is a modern technology that works by predicting the potential risk of a system. Data science uses the past history of attacks, based on which they alert the system about upcoming attacks.
Opportunities will be available in these areas: ● Machine Learning Engineer, ● Data Scientist, ● Data Engineer, AI Specialist, Research Scientist and others.
- The course will be of 8 semesters, will be conducted under B.Sc program
- Data Science and Analytics will be included in 4 year degree course

Add on courses are already being run in the college. Now preparations are on to run it on a large scale. Girl students taking enrollment in the new session this year will be able to apply for this. Applications for the new session will be taken from the end of March or beginning of April.
What is the eligibility for application?
Only those girl students will apply for this course, who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12th. Since its study also requires a hold on mathematics. Therefore mathematics has been made compulsory. Enrollment will be based on entrance examination.
