Electricity company's board approved the demand of employee unions
Latest Updated 10/01/2024: There will be no reduction in technical posts in the electricity company formed by the electricity board. The company has decided that the number of sanctioned technical posts in the board will remain the same. A notification in this regard has also been released by the company. After this order, about four thousand posts have been reinstated in the power company. There will be restoration on these posts in the coming time.

Actually, many types of technical posts are approved in the power company. It mainly has the posts of Switch Board Operator, Junior Lineman, Lineman, Head Lineman, Foreman etc. Employees started retiring from these posts sanctioned long ago. At one time 10 thousand technical personnel were working in the Electricity Board. But, due to retirement their number increased to six thousand.
