16.94 lakh students will appear, admit card released for Bihar Board Matric Annual Exam latest news update 2024
Latest Updated 15/01/2024: Bihar School Examination Committee released the admit card for matriculation examination on Sunday. More than 16 lakh 94 thousand candidates will appear.
- Exam will be conduct from 15th to 23rd February
- Practical exam will be conduct from 18th to 20th January

The board said that the heads of all recognized schools can download the admit card by logging in with the user ID and password from the committee's website. After this, after putting signature and seal, it will be given to the students. The admit card is valid for the students successful in the setup test. If the admit card of a student who fails or is absent in the examination is issued, it will not be recognized. The head of the school will not give admit cards to such students.

Since 1583 centers have been created in the state, 1583 centers have been created for 16 lakh, 94 thousand, 564 candidates. This year there are more applicants as compared to last year. In 2023, 1500 centers were made for 16 lakh 35 thousand 383 people. For visually impaired candidates, examination of music subject will be conducted instead of science and home science subject will be conducted in place of mathematics.
Deposit the outstanding amount by 20 January. The committee has said that the registration and examination fees have still not been deposited by the heads of many schools. The head of such a school has been given the opportunity to deposit the amount till 20 January. In the interest of the students, the head of the concerned school should compulsorily deposit the dues by 20th January.
For the convenience of dictation, online application will have to be made a week in advance
The facility of scribe will be provided to the disabled candidates from the level of DM. For this, application will have to be submitted to the DEO a week in advance. Disabled applicants who are unable to write on their own will be provided dictation on request. Apart from this, there is also a provision that disabled candidates can also bring their dictation writer.
Flying squad formed for Matric-Inter examination
Patna. The education department has formed a flying squad for the intermediate and matriculation examinations. Department Director Administration Subodh Kumar Choudhary has instructed the nominated officials to leave for all the allotted districts on 30 January. They will remain in their district till the completion of the examination. All of them will give daily information about every activity and incident to the department. It will be their responsibility to ensure that the police & magistrates reach the respective examination centers on the time, for this they will be in the constant touch with the concerned.
There will be no amendment on the released admit card
Bihar School Examination Committee has said that the head of any school, examination center superintendent cannot make any kind of amendment in the admit card issued. If there is any kind of amendment in the admit card then action will be taken against the principal of such school. The head of the school will put the signature & seal on the downloaded admit card and give the admit card to the applicants. Students whose admission has been canceled due to absence will not be included in the Matric Annual 2024.
