45 percent teachers of the state are not able to conduct practical classes
Latest Updated 17/12/2023: Virtual lab classes will run on Diksha portal. NCERT has given this information to government as well as private schools. Through the portal, teachers will learn to conduct experiments in the virtual lab. Teachers will be told how to conduct experiments in the practical class so that children can understand.

According to NCERT, 45 percent of the teachers in the state do not know how to take practical classes, this includes teachers from government as well as private schools. These teachers conduct theory classes in science subject or 12th science stream, but are not able to conduct practical classes in the same subject. Such teachers have been identified at the state level. Now a virtual lab will be run for these teachers, so that these teachers can teach the students by doing experiments in the practical class.

Teachers from every school will be included in this. Let us tell you that teachers from every school will be included in the virtual lab. A team will consist of ten teachers. Their classes will run together. A teacher will be given six months training. After this, test of these teachers will also be taken. The schedule is being prepared by NCERT. Indrani Bhaduri, Chairperson, NCERT said that Virtual Lab has now been started on Diksha Portal. Teachers will be given practical class training.
