Revised Information: Jharkhand Academic Council changed the time table of matriculation and intermediate examinations
Latest Updated 17/12/2023: The time table of matriculation and intermediate examinations has been changed. Now students will not get a five-minute break in a shift exam. One shift examination will be of 315 continuous hours. Jharkhand Academic Council released this information on Saturday.
Matriculation examination will be held in the first shift. Now the written examination of the first shift will be held from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm. Whereas, Intermediate examination will be held in the second shift. In this, written examination will be conducted from 2 pm to 515 pm. Earlier, the schedule was issued on the basis of OMR sheet examination, in which a break of five minutes was prescribed in the middle of the examination of a shift. Now that the examination is not to be conducted on OMR sheets, the five-minute break has been removed and there will be 315 continuous hours of examination. JACK has clarified that the matriculation and intermediate examinations of 2024 will be held in the same term. Matriculation examination will be conducted through question cum answer book and Intermediate examination will be conducted through 24 page simple answer book.
- There will be multiple choice questions of 30% marks, internal assessment of 20 marks.
- Intermediate examination will be held in the second shift from 02 pm to 5:15 pm.
The exam will have multiple choice questions of 30 percent marks, short answer-long answer questions of 50 percent marks and internal assessment of 20 marks. Four options will be given for multiple choice questions. Students will have to write the question number along with its answer (A, B, C or D) in the answer book and write the correct answer given in the option. Let us tell you that matriculation and intermediate examinations will be conducted from 6 February to 26 February 2024.
