Breaking News: Bollywood Actress Ameesha Patel paid a fine of 1000 rupees
Latest Updated 07/12/2023: Complainant's witness Ajay Kumar was cross-examined by the defense counsel in the court of Judicial Magistrate DN Shukla on Wednesday in the check bounce case involving actress Ameesha Patel. This could not be completed. Before cross-examining the witness, Ameesha's lawyer deposited the fine of Rs 1000 imposed by the court. This fine was received by the complainant's lawyer Bijay Lakshmi Srivastava.
After this the witness was cross-examined. The court has fixed December 11 for further hearing. On November 29, the court had allowed the defense to cross-examine the complainant's witness. After the close of cross-examination, the statement of Ameesha and her business partner Kunal Groomer in the case will be recorded in the court.
Let us tell you that film maker Ranchi resident Ajay Kumar Singh had given two crore rupees to Ameesha Patel in the name of making Desi Magic film, but the film was not made. After this he asked for money from Ameesha. The two checks given for refund bounced. Both the checks had bounced. Then Ajay Kumar Singh had filed a case of fraud against Ameesha Patel and Kunal Groomer in 2018. In this case, Ameesha Patel had surrendered in Ranchi Civil Court on June 17. Currently he is on bail.
