Breaking News: 4th meeting of India alliance will be held on 6 December
Latest Updated 04/12/2023: After the defeat in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, Congress has called a meeting of the India Alliance to discuss the strategy in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Seat sharing is also likely to be discussed in this meeting to be held in Delhi on December 6. Due to assembly elections in five states, talks on seat sharing could not take place.
The meeting of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (India) is taking place at a time when Congress has been successful in winning only Telangana in the elections of four states. Whereas in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, Congress had a direct contest with BJP. In such a situation, Congress's claim in seat sharing within the alliance has weakened.
