Doctor couple will be posted in a district by the Health Department of Bihar latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 29/12/2023: If both husband and wife are doctors, they can now get posted in the same district. In this regard, after the announcement by Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, the Health Department has invited online applications till 9 January 2024.

The Health Department has directed for transfer and posting of regular doctors of Bihar Health Services Cadre and Bihar Dental Services Cadre to one district or nearby districts as far as possible. In the meeting of Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department, Pratyaya Amrit, a proposal was passed to post the couple of doctors in the same district. After getting the approval from the government, the health department has issued an order in this regard and has sought online applications from the couple dentists.
