971 ANM transferred in the state by the Health Department of Bihar latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 30/12/2023: Health Department has transferred 971 ANMs. According to the departmental notification, most of the ANMs have been given postings adjacent to their home district so that they do not face much difficulty in performing their duties.

The department had invited applications from all ANMs. The Civil Surgeon has been asked to ensure posting of the transferred ANM within 72 hours. It has been asked to do their posting in such a way that at least one female health worker (ANM) is posted in all the institutions. For this, if no ANM has been transferred in the district and there is not a single ANM in any institution, then if there is more than one ANM, then posting in health institutions with zero. In any case, all health institutions have been asked to operate in a better manner. Since the transfer of ANM has taken place on the basis of their representation.
