Latest Updated 08/11/2023: The Education Department has instructed all the District Education Officers to immediately start the verification of certificates of teachers selected by Bihar Public Service Commission. The department has said in a letter written to the districts that the process of posting the selected teachers is going on. Meanwhile, start verification of certificates on time, so that there is no delay in this work.

Director of Secondary Education Kanhaiya Prasad Srivastava has written a letter to all the districts. He has said that one lakh nine thousand teachers have been given provisional appointment letters by the districts after counselling. In the light of Bihar State School Teacher Appointment Rules 2023, it is necessary to get the certificates of these teachers verified. It is known that the districts have been instructed to immediately take the service of new teachers by sending them to the village schools. In this light, action has been taken by the districts. The Education Department has directed the districts to mark the children whose names have been struck off for being continuously absent, on MedhaSoft within three days.
