UP Board of Madrasa Education angry over delay in recognition of madrasas latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 17/11/2023: Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Board, Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed Javed has expressed his displeasure over the delay in the process of giving recognition to unrecognized Madrasas in the state. He also says that unrecognized madrassas are not illegal. He has also written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding this.
It was told in the letter that one year has passed since this survey of unrecognized madrassas, but no decision has been taken regarding giving recognition to these madrassas. For the last eight years, no decision has been taken regarding giving recognition to Madrassas in the state. He informed the Chief Minister that in the survey conducted a year ago, eight and a half thousand madrassas were found to be unrecognized.
