Latest Updated 02/11/2023: Bihar Public Service Commission will release the vacancies for the second phase of teacher appointment recruitment examination on Thursday. Along with this, the application process will also start from Friday. The last date of application is till 14th November. The Commission has received the requisition from the Government.


Commission Secretary Ravi Bhushan said that the application will start from Friday. About 70 thousand vacancies received from the government will be removed. In the second phase, 31 thousand 982 vacancies have been fixed for middle, 18 thousand 880 for secondary and 18 thousand 830 for higher secondary. The remaining vacancies in the first phase have not yet been sent to the Commission from the government. In such a situation the number of vacancies will reduce. However, correct information will be available after distribution of appointment letters on November 2. There is a possibility that after receiving the correct data, even during the application, the remaining vacancies of the first phase can be added to the vacancies of the second phase. The number of questions in the exam will be 120. The exam syllabus will remain the same as before. A possibility is being expressed that the level of questions may be made a little easier.

Only candidates who have passed STET in Secondary and Higher Secondary will be given a chance. This time there will be more competition in secondary and higher secondary. The number of candidates may be more depending on the seats. This time the number of candidates who got success in STET Secondary is one lakh 98783. Whereas the number of seats in Higher Secondary is 18830, the number of successful candidates is one lakh two thousand.
