Latest Updated 02/11/2023: One lakh 20 thousand 336 new teachers of Bihar will be given provisional appointment letters on Thursday. Of these, 25 thousand teachers will come to Gandhi Maidan in Patna, where appointment letters will be handed over to them by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Whereas others will be given appointment letters in their district only. The Education Department has completed preparations for distribution of appointment letters.

25 thousand teachers from 27 districts of the state will reach Gandhi Maidan in Patna in 602 buses. Teachers are instructed to sit at their places in Gandhi Maidan by 2 pm. The Chief Minister will reach Gandhi Maidan at 3 o'clock. Teachers from the districts falling under three divisions Bhagalpur, Purnia and Saharsa will not come to Gandhi Maidan in Patna. All the teachers of these 11 districts will be handed over appointment letters in the program organized in their district. At the same time, all the successful teachers of Patna, Nalanda and Vaishali districts will reach Patna.
Identified teachers from the remaining districts will be brought by buses. After giving the appointment letters, training of new teachers will be started in four phases.

8500 teachers from Patna 184 buses, 2700 teachers from Magadha 69 buses, 1900 teachers from Munger 54 buses, 3500 teachers from Darbhanga 88 buses, 6000 teachers from Tirhut 151 buses and 2400 teachers from Saran division 57 buses will come to Gandhi Maidan.
