83 percent employed teachers selected in secondary and higher secondary schools by BPSC latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 28/11/2023: Among the teachers selected by Bihar Public Service Commission, there are 28 thousand 800 who are already serving as employed teachers. Of these, about 83 employed teachers have been selected for secondary and higher secondary schools. At the same time, only five thousand i.e. about 17 employed teachers have been selected for primary schools.
The department has made it clear that the employed teachers can remain in their previous school as per their wish or can contribute at the new place. If seen in this way, if the employed teacher contributes at the new place, then that post in his previous school will become vacant. The exact information about how many posts in schools became vacant due to contribution at the new place will be available after November 30. The department has given an opportunity to the employed teachers to contribute at the new place till 30th November. Departmental officials say that a decision will be taken later to fill the posts that will become vacant due to the contribution of the teachers employed at the new place.

The reports received from the districts show that out of 28 thousand 800, there are about ten thousand who have not taken the provisional appointment letters. It is clear that they do not want to contribute at the new place.
