Latest Updated 13/10/2023: The state government has banned other recruitment, school and college examinations on the day of the main examination for Preliminary Eligibility Test-2023 (PET) to be held on October 28 and 29. Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Devesh Chaturvedi has sent instructions in this regard to commissions, boards and universities.

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has set up examination centers for PET-2023 in 35 districts of the state. Exams will be held in four shifts in these two days. 2007340 have applied for PET. The Commission has prepared for the examination on this basis. According to Commission Chairman Praveer Kumar, PET is conducted once a year.
Only those who participate in this are considered eligible for recruitment to Group 'C' posts. Additional Chief Secretary Personnel has directed that no competitive and written examinations should be conducted on these two days.
