Relief to coal workers, September salary due to new agreement latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 10/10/2023: On the controversy arising out of Coal Wage Agreement-11, the double bench of Jabalpur High Court put a stay on the decision of the single bench. Coal workers have got immediate relief from this order. The next hearing will be held on 17 October.

Here, as soon as the stay order was released, Coal India has directed that the salary for the month of September should be paid on 10 October under the new agreement. Let us tell you that the Single Bench of the High Court had rejected the Wage Agreement-11 on the application of the coal officials.
Here in Delhi itself, in the Apex meeting on Monday, trade unions have postponed the three-day strike announced from 12 October. With this, the tense atmosphere created regarding Pay Agreement-11 has come to an end. After the meeting, a meeting of Coal India management and trade union leaders was also held with Coal Secretary Amritlal Meena. DPE guidelines were discussed in the meeting.
