Latest Updated 10/10/2023: Patna High Court has ordered to reserve one seat for nomination in NMC&H of Sasaram. Also, the board organizing the counseling has been asked to file a counter affidavit within the 4 weeks.

A single bench of Justice Anil Kumar Sinha heard the application filed on behalf of Habiba Shane. Applicant's lawyer Rashid Izhar told the court that she got 5417 rank in NEET 2023 examination and Bihar Joint Entrance Competition Examination Board informed about seat allotment. But after the third round of counselling, the person of this rank was informed that seat was not allotted. Whereas in NMCH the rank went from 2722 to 5479.
