Breaking News: PM Modi said India will leave no stone unturned in efforts to host Olympics
Latest Updated 15/10/2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said India will leave no stone unturned in its efforts to organize the 2036 Olympics as it is the dream of 140 crore Indians.
Prime Minister Modi said these things while inaugurating the session of the International Olympic Committee. He said, I would like to present before you the sentiments of 140 crore Indians. Before this, India is keen to host the Youth Olympics to be held in 2029.
PM Modi said, I am confident that India will continue to get the continuous support from the IOC. India is ready to host a large-scale global event. The world has seen this during the hosting of G-20. He further said that it is a matter of great pride for us to have the 141st session of the International Olympic Committee in India after 40 years. Over the years, India has proved its ability to organize all the types of global sports tournaments.
