Latest Updated 18/10/2023: BPSC on Tuesday released the results of 16 subjects including six language subjects of the Higher Secondary Teacher Appointment Examination. The successful candidates of these subjects were also allotted districts. If we look at the results, according to the allotted seats, more than half of the teachers could not be found in language subjects. Apart from language subjects, results of Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Pali, Economics and Persian were also released. The results of the remaining subjects of higher secondary will come on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will give appointment letters to the selected teacher candidates on November 2. Appointment letters will be distributed ceremoniously at Gandhi Maidan. It is noteworthy that BPSC had conducted the examination for a total of 57062 posts of higher secondary teachers. About 37 thousand candidates had applied for this.


More than half the seats in six language subjects remained vacant


Leave of education workers canceled till further orders


Patna. In order to complete the appointment process of teachers, the leave of the officials and employees of the Education Department working in all the districts and blocks including the state headquarters will be canceled from Wednesday till further orders. The Education Department has issued an order in this regard. At the same time, Additional Chief Secretary of the department KK Pathak has also sent a letter in this regard to all the District Magistrates.


6061 candidates have been selected against 23873 posts in 16 subjects. That is, 25.38. Teachers have not been found as per the vacant posts in any of them. One third result has been declared in science subject. Even less in the rest.


Result of secondary teacher recruitment exam today


The result of Secondary Teacher Examination will come on Wednesday. Here, the result has been given on the minimum cutoff in Higher Secondary. After the order of the state government, the remaining seats will be added in further teacher recruitment.


Counseling of selected candidates will also start from today


The Education Department has fixed the date of counseling of the selected candidates. Counseling will be held from 18th to 23rd October. Counseling of higher secondary teachers will be held in the district on 20th and 21st October from 9.30 am.
