It is known that counselors were to be appointed under the Women Special Cell in the police stations of the state. The final result was published on 19 May 2023. Now the date of online application will be released soon. The Social Welfare Department had announced a vacancy to hire a female counsellor. The recruitment process was done by Women and Child Development Corporation at three levels. Online application started from 7 June 2022. For this, one should have graduation in the field of sociology, psychology and law along with two years of experience.

213 women counselors are to be placed in the police stations of the state
More than five thousand applications were received. More than five thousand applications were submitted. In the final result, 213 female candidates were selected. The online application taken in the year 2022 has been canceled in 2023.
Seats reserved in different categories were General - 84, EWS - 21, BC - 26, EBC - 38, SC - 35, ST - 03, BC (Women) - 06.
The recruitment of female counselor will now be done again. The date of application for this will be released soon. Preparations for the process in this regard are underway.
