Accused arrested with reward of 25000 rupees in UKPSC Patwari Paper leak latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 25/10/2023: Police arrested the absconding accused carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 in the paper leak case of Patwari recruitment examination of Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. The accused was sent to jail after being produced in the Corruption Act Court in Doon on Tuesday. In the past, SIT has arrested many accused and sent them to jail.

SSP Pramendra Singh Dobal said that in January, STF had revealed the leak of Patwari and AE-JE recruitment exam papers of Public Service Commission. STF had arrested many accused including Commission's Section Officer Sanjeev Chaturvedi, his wife Ritu in this case. Later several other accused including another section officer were also arrested. Cases were registered against the accused under effective sections including fraud and prevention of corruption act. Action was also taken against the accused under the Gangster Act. SSP said that since then one accused Anil alias Anil Ojasvi resident of Gaduwala, Police Station Fatehpur, District Saharanpur, UP was absconding. He is accused of getting candidates to solve papers by taking huge amount of money. If the accused was not caught, a reward of Rs 25,000 was announced on him. Told that the police was busy searching for the accused since then. Late on Monday night, the police caught the accused Anil from Rawali Mahdood Brahmapuri village of Sidcul.
