10 people caught in Bluetooth copying gang
Latest Updated 29/10/2023: Apart from the leader of the Bluetooth cheating gang, a total of 40 people including room inspector and solver were arrested in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) conducted by Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission on Saturday. STF arrested a total of 10 people including Deepak Kumar Patel, the leader of the Bluetooth copying gang.
According to Commission Chairman Praveer Kumar, CCTV and AI based facial recognition software is being used to keep an eye on copycats and solvers.

STF arrested Solver gang leader Deepak Kumar Patel and Ajay Kumar Patel from Prayagraj. Both of them told that there is a gang of people who take huge amount of money from the candidates in various competitive examinations and make them cheat by solving the question paper through Bluetooth device. Apart from this, solver Mukesh Yadav from Rani Revati Devi Inter College and solver Jackie from Teliarganj center were caught in Prayagraj. 62 candidates appeared in the examination on the first day
The examination was conducted in two shifts at 1058 examination centers in 35 districts. There will be an exam on Sunday also. Admit cards for a total of 20,07,533 candidates have been issued. On Saturday, out of 10,03,768 registered candidates, 6,27,541 (62.5 percent) were present in both the shifts and 376227 (37.5 percent) candidates were absent.

During the examination on Saturday, five solvers were caught in Aligarh, two in Basti, two in Bulandshahr, four in Deoria, two in Gautam Buddha Nagar, two in Ghaziabad, two in Kanpur Nagar, two in Lucknow, six in Prayagraj, two in Unnao, seven in Varanasi, one each in Sultanpur and Barabanki. Are.
