Latest Updated 13/10/2023: The annual skills convocation ceremony at IIT ISM was telecast live from AICTE Auditorium New Delhi on Thursday. Anish Kumar, resident of Bhuli, Dhanbad, received the certificate in the program in New Delhi.

27 candidates who took the training course of Assistant Mine Surveyor were honored on the spot in Dhanbad. This training has been given under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 4.0). IIT Dhanbad has been made the nodal center for Assistant Mine Surveyor Training Course. The institute has set a target of training 300 candidates. The next session is proposed to start from November 6 till February 15. Deputy Director Prof. Dheeraj Kumar, Dean Media and Branding Prof. Rajni Singh, Head of Mining Engineering Department, Prof. DP Mishra, Prof. Sunil Kumar Co-ordinator Skill Development Program was present.
