18 chapters removed from NEET Syllabus latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 10/10/2023: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has changed the syllabus for the graduate NEET for the year 2024. 18 chapters have been removed from this.
These include many chapters of PCB of class 11th and 12th. Now questions will be asked from total 79 chapters from PCB.
Here, medical examination expert Vipin Singh said that this change has been made according to the new NCERT book. Most of the changes are good but it did not seem logical to remove important chapters like Digestion and Absorption, Reproduction in Organism, Tissue and Environmental Issues from the Medical Science Entrance Examination.
He said that according to this change, from Chemistry, States of Matter, Solid State, S Block Elements, Metallurgy, Hydrogen, Environmental Chemistry, Polymer, Chemistry in Everyday Life and from Biology, Transport in Plants, Mineral Nutrition, Plant Growth and Development (Vernalization) Many topics have been removed from other chapters of Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with some chapters of Reproduction in Organisms, Digestion and Absorption and Ecology. On the other hand, topics of some new chapters have also been added.
