Latest Updated 26/10/2023: Nearly one lakh students of Matric and Intermediate of Bihar Board will not be able to appear in the Centup examination. The enrollment of these students has been canceled due to continuous absence from school and not completing 75 percent attendance.


Bihar Board Secretary Pramod Kumar has informed all the District Education Officers regarding this.

Admission of 266564 students from 9th to 12th class canceled


According to Pramod Kumar, students who have been continuously absent from school in class 10th and 12th will not be included in the centup examination. Regarding this, the board has also asked for school and district wise list of students from all the districts. Schools have been given one week's time for this. During this period, all DEOs have to send the list of students in hard and soft copies to the board. According to the board, enrollment of 2,66,564 students up to class 9th and 12th has been cancelled. The enrollment of 1,66,564 boys and girls of class 9th and 11th has been cancelled. These students will not appear in the upcoming annual examination. Let us tell you that on the orders of the Education Department, an order was given to cancel the enrollment of such students from class 9th to 12th who were continuously absent. Such students will no longer be able to appear in further examinations. Intermediate's sentup exam will be held from October 30 to November 6 and matriculation exam will be held in the last week of November. 


Only those students will appear in the sentup examination who have 75 percent attendance in school. A letter has been received from Bihar Board regarding this. School wise list of students is being prepared, it will be sent to the board.
