Latest Updated 06/09/2023: Admission has started in the government para medical institutes of the state. Students taking admission this year will have to serve in the hospital of the institute for one year after the completion of studies. Its bond will be filled at the time of enrollment itself. The government has issued instructions for this. The admission process has started from Monday. Enrollment of students will be done till 9th September.
Explain that two years diploma and one year certificate course are done in government institutions. SNMMCH Para Medical Institute has 60 seats for Diploma and 107 seats for Certificate courses. According to the officials, this new arrangement will remove the shortage of paramedical staff in the state. Only SNMMCH will get 160 personnel every year for one year.
Stipend: Passout students of diploma courses will get Rs 12,000 per month and certificate course students will get Rs 10,000 per month.
One lakh rupees fine for breaking the condition Students who break the condition or leave the course in the middle will have to pay a fine. The amount of fine has been fixed at one lakh rupees. This money will have to be deposited in the government treasury.
