Target set to make 25 lakh cards under Ayushman Bhava program
A target has been set to make 25 lakh cards under the Ayushman Bhava programme. Due to this, there is huge pressure on the portal and the site is hanging again and again. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat raised this issue with the Union Health Minister on Saturday. After this, the NHA team has reached the state, which has updated the software. After this the site has started functioning at many places. Whereas in some places this portal will start working in a day or two. Officials said that till now BIS One software was being used to make Ayushman card, whereas now it has been updated and the work is being done with BIS Three.
Its biggest feature is that apart from CHCs and hospitals, it has also provided the facility for common people to make their own cards through Ayushman Bharat mobile app. Under the scheme, cards are to be made for all eligible people above five years of age.
