NIA raids 31 places in IS Recruitment Case latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 17/09/2023: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has achieved great success in breaking the back of terrorism. NIA spokesperson said on Saturday that raids were conducted at 31 places in Tamil Nadu and Telangana to foil the recruitment drive of ISIS.
In the raid, digital devices, important documents, books in local and Arabic languages along with Rs 60 lakh and US $18,200 were seized. Agents influenced by ISIS were working on the Khilafat ideology. People belonging to the organization are trying to spread the network of terror in different parts of the country. The raids were conducted at 22 locations in Coimbatore, three in Chennai, one in Tenkasi district and five in Hyderabad.
Lesson of radicalization to the youth: According to NIA, the raids were conducted in the cases registered in Hyderabad. Where the raids were conducted, innocent youth were being taught the lessons of fundamentalism.

Under the guise of teaching Arabic language in regional study centres, fundamentalism was being taught and propagated through social media. A conspiracy was being hatched to include the youth in the organization by brainwashing them through WhatsApp and Telegram.
