Breaking News: PK Singh's wife and child's accounts will be de-refrigerated by Jharkhand High Court
Latest Updated 17/09/2023: While hearing the petition filed by Dr PK Singh, former director of Simfer and Chief Scientist cum Head of Research Group Dr AK Singh, implicated in the Rs 140 crore honorarium scam, the court has ordered de-freezing of the bank accounts of their wife and child.

CBI Special Court Judge Rajnikant Pathak has directed to keep the old bank accounts of both the scientists in operation and has banned the withdrawal of previous deposits. Also, instructions have been given to release the frozen bank accounts in the names of the scientists' son and wife. CBI has been instructed to make an inventory of the items stored in the locker and present it in the court.
On September 2, the court had rejected the anticipatory bail plea of both of them. Dhanbad CBI had registered a scam FIR against Dr PK Singh and AK Singh of Sinfar on June 25. The bank accounts were frozen, banning the operation of 12 bank accounts of Dr PK Singh and five bank accounts of Dr AK Singh.
