Cheating of STET Bihar candidates by calling exposed, 4 people arrested latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 29/09/2023: The special team of the Economic Offenses Unit on Thursday busted a gang that cheated STET candidates by calling them. Four vicious members of the gang have also been arrested. The team conducted a raid in Nawada on Thursday evening and arrested Shishupal Kumar, Kanhaiya Prasad, Momo shop owner Shyam Sundar alias Bittu and Krishna Murari. All of them are from Shahpur and Parvati villages of the district.
11 mobile phones, Rs 5 lakh 50 thousand cash, list of STET candidates (with roll and mobile numbers) have been recovered from them. This organized gang of cyber fraud was run by Shishupal Kumar and Kanhaiya Prasad. These vicious people used to call STET candidates and tell them that their marks were decreasing. If you want to increase it, you will have to pay for it. Apart from this, this gang also used to cheat many people in the name of getting loans.

EOU has registered an FIR in this matter. 9 have been named in this. Four people have been arrested in this. The absconding accused include Subodh Raut, Chandan Kumar, Neha Telecom owner Gautam Shah, Priyanshu Kumar and Himanshu Kumar. The gang had spread its network in many other states also.
