The state government has given a big gift to teacher candidates and contract workers before the festival. Under the 2nd phase, a decision has been taken to recruit 70692 teachers in the bihar soon. At the same time, there has been a huge increase in the honorarium of 74256 SAP, Vikas Mitra, Shiksha Sevak and Shiksha Sevak (Talimi Markaz). On Tuesday, the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar approved these proposals.

The teachers who are going to be reinstated include 69692 posts of teachers from class 6 to 12 under the Education Department and 1000 posts in the Backward and Most Backward Class Welfare Department. Their recruitment will be through Bihar Public Service Commission. After the cabinet meeting, Dr. S. Siddharth which is Additional Chief Secretary told that under the Bihar State School Teacher (Recruitment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action & Service Conditions) Rules 2023, 18830 created and vacant posts of higher secondary teachers, 18880 created & vacant posts of secondary teachers are already under Panchayati Raj & Municipal Body institutions. By transferring the posts and 31982 created and vacant posts for classes 6 to 8, 18830 posts of teachers for classes 11 to 12 have been approved. Similarly, 18880 posts have been approved for classes 9 to 10 and 31982 posts have been approved for classes 6 to 8. He said that the Cabinet has approved a total of 45 proposals.

74256 contract workers will benefit
The honorarium of SAP, Vikas Mitra, Shiksha Sevak, Shiksha Sevak (Talimi Markaz) and cook has been increased by Rs 11,300. This will benefit 9825 Vikas Mitras, 30 thousand Shiksha Sevaks and Shiksha Sevaks (Talimi Markaz) and 34431 SAP jawans. Also, the honorarium of Vikas Mitra, Shiksha Sevak and Shiksha Sevak (Talimi Markaz) will now increase by 5 percent from July 1 every year. Vikas Mitra's honorarium will increase from September 1, while Shiksha Sevak's honorarium will increase from October. New responsibilities have also been assigned to Shiksha Sevak and Shiksha Sevak (Talimi Markaz). Along with encouraging children to come to school, they will also take classes for classes 1 and 2 if teachers do not come.
Affidavit can be filed in the court in Hindi also
Now any person will be able to file an affidavit in Hindi also in the court. The cabinet gave green signal to this proposal. At present, there is a system of filing affidavit only in English. This decision has been taken after the order of Patna High Court.
