27000 students filled choice in B.Tech Colleges affiliated to AKTU Lucknow latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 18/09/2023: The time for choice filling and locking under online counseling for admission to engineering and architecture colleges affiliated to AKTU is over. Till the last day on Sunday evening, 27,256 students got their choice filling done for B.Tech while 187 students completed the process for B.Arch. Whereas 3387 candidates for admission to UG courses under CUET and 2087 candidates for PG got their choice filling done on Sunday.

The last day of choice filling for admission to B.Tech and B.Arch courses was on Sunday. Seat allotment will take place on September 18. Whereas under CUET UG and PG courses, choice filling for admission in B.Tech Biotechnology, B.Tech Agriculture, B.Des, BHMDC, BFA, BFAD, BVoc, B.Tech, BPharma Lateral Entry and MBA and MCA will continue till September 18. The allotment of seats in these will take place on 19 September.
Admission based on JEE Mains ranking
Admission in B.Tech is being taken on the basis of JEE Mains ranking. According to Vice Chancellor Professor JP Pandey, the convenience of the students is being taken care of in the counseling process. On the second day, about 1400 people registered for admission in BPharma. More than 1400 registered on the second day of registration for admission to pharmacy institutions affiliated to the university. The process of registration and uploading documents for admission will continue till September 22.
