Latest Updated 05/08/2023: Under the Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme, two-and-a-half lakh loans for two-year MTech and up to three lakh loans will be given to polytechnic students. Its order has been issued by the Education Department on Friday. Along with this, Bihar State Education Finance Corporation Limited has also been informed by sending a letter in this regard.
Including a total of 10 new courses in this scheme, the maximum limit of their loan has been fixed. Apart from these two, a maximum loan limit of four lakh each has been fixed for MTech Integrated five years, BTech, Bachelor in Fashion Technology four years, Master in Fashion Technology four years, GNM and BSC Nursing.
At the same time, a loan of Rs 2.90 lakh will be available for B.Ed and Rs 2 lakh for ITI Diploma. This order has been implemented with immediate effect. Students will also be able to apply for loans for these courses.
