Latest Updated 07/08/2023: The upgraded school in inter admission could not become the choice of the students. Students have enrolled only on ten percent seats. Due to this, seats will remain vacant in most of the upgraded schools of the state.

According to OFSS (Online Facilitation System for Students) of Bihar Board, seats are vacant in upgraded schools in every district. Students were given little choice of upgraded schools. Let us tell you that 5,000 schools in the state up to class 10th were upgraded to class 12th. Due to this, more than five lakh seats have been increased in Inter. All these upgraded schools are at Panchayat level. Schools were first upgraded to 9th-10th and then up to 11th-12th, so that students get the opportunity to study up to intermediate level in their own panchayat. About five thousand schools have been upgraded from the year 2019 to 2023. In the year 2023 also, more than five hundred schools have been upgraded till 12th. But in this less than one thousand upgraded schools have got admission in Inter.
