Now preparing to give offer letters to the youth of Koyalanchal Jharkhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 19/08/2023: More than 10,000 youths were given offer letters for employment in private sector companies by organizing an employment fair in Kolhan division on Friday. Chief Minister Hemant Soren symbolically handed over offer letters to many of them. Now, in the second phase, an employment fair will soon be organized in Dhanbad to employ local youth in private companies of Koyalanchal division. The program is being finalized.
The government has a plan to employ the youth of Jharkhand near their home district. Efforts have been intensified for this. Secretary, Labor Planning Department, Rajesh Sharma said that in the second phase, after organizing an employment fair for the youth of Koyalanchal division in Dhanbad, offer letters will be given by holding a fair to connect the youth of other divisions, Palamu, South Chotanagpur etc. with employment.
For this, local private sector companies are being registered. So far more than six thousand companies have been registered. More than 3.5 thousand local youths have been linked with employment through employment centers.
Mandatory to appoint 75 percent local
The Employment Act 2021 and Rules 2022 of local candidates are applicable in the private sector of Jharkhand. The Act applies to all establishments in the private sector established in the State having ten or more work force. All such set up have to register themselves on this portal. Under the Act, if the establishment removes any vacancy, then 75 local (Jharkhand) will have to be appointed for the posts up to the salary of Rs 40 thousand.
