No negative marking in Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam by BPSC latest news update 2023

Latest Updated 19/08/2023: Bihar Public Service Commission has announced the removal of negative marking five days before the teacher recruitment exam. Marks of the applicants will not be deducted for giving wrong answers. Earlier, the commission had fixed one-fourth negative marking in the examination. Commission's chairman Atul Prasad provide this information in a press conference on Friday. 


8 lakh 15 thousand candidates will be included


The teacher appointment exam will be held from 24 August to 26 August at the pre-scheduled time. Eight lakh 15 thousand candidates will be involved in this. 850 centers have been set up across the state including 40 in Patna. A total of 1 lakh 70 thousand 461 teachers will be recruited.

The result will be released in two phases Chairman Atul Prasad told that the result of teacher appointment test will be released in two phases. In the first phase, the results of DLED candidates applying for class one to fifth will be issued. Along with these, the results of the candidates of secondary and higher secondary will be released by 25 September. The number of DLED candidates applying for class one to fifth is three lakh 80 thousand.


This includes applicants from all states. He told that the Supreme Court has not imposed any ban on examination. Applicants of both D.El.Ed & B.Ed will be involved in the examination of class 1st to 5th. There is no doubt about it. However, the result of B.Ed candidates who applied for classes I to V will not be declared in the first phase.


The chairman of the commission said, their result will be released only after the clear decision of the Supreme Court. Vacant posts will be kept reserved for them. The number of B.Ed applicants applying for classes one to five is 3 lakh 90 thousand. These cannot be ignored.

Ban on electronics


The question paper will be sent directly to the examination hall. Its seal will be opened in the presence of the applicants only. Orders have also been provide to seal the OMR seats after the completion of the examination in front of the applicants. There will be a ban on the all kinds of electronics gadgets. There will be video recording of the complete process. This time the commission has ready a jacket to seal the OMR box. Even after the completion of the examination, the applicants cannot leave without the permission of the invigilator. Will be allowed to go out only after OMR sheet is sealed. Students will get entry with only Black, Blue Ball Pen & White Ball Pen.


Have to come to the exam center 2 and 1/2 hours before


Applicants will have to reach the examination center 2 and 1/2 hours before. 1 hour before the check-in, entry into the examination hall will be allowed. Students who don't come on time will not be allowed to go to the examination center. A demand has been made to keep secretary level officers as observers in the examination.


Biometric attendance of the applicants will be recorded


The chairman of the commission told that there will be strong security arrangements in the teacher recruitment examination. Applicants will be screened at multiple levels. Biometric attendance will also be recorded. With the exception of, the admit card will also be matched along with matching the pupil of the eye. The admit card can be downloaded after 2 days.
