Caught a youth with fake ID card in Red Fort Delhi latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 15/08/2023: Amid tight security, a youth entered the Red Fort complex on Monday on a fake police identity card. When his actions seemed suspicious, the police interrogated him, then the matter came to light and the accused Nikhil Chauhan was arrested.
Strict security arrangements have been made in and around Red Fort in view of Independence Day.
On Monday, a young man started entering the Red Fort by showing his ID card to the security personnel. When the security forces interrupted him, after completing the investigation, he entered the Red Fort premises by showing the intimidation of the Joint Commissioner of Police. During this, when the security personnel had any doubt, they informed the police post.

After this, a youth roaming on the Gyan Path, 200 meters away from the venue of the Prime Minister's address, was nabbed. Constable Nikhil Chauhan was written on his ID card, but the youth was calling himself a head constable. When the policemen brought him to the outpost and inquired, the accused told his name as Nikhil Chauhan, a resident of Majnu Ka Tila.
The accused youth told that he has been sent to investigate the security arrangements. But the whole secret was revealed in the police investigation.
