Application for regular pay scale to Bihar TET teachers rejected latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 24/08/2023: The High Court rejected the petitions regarding giving regular pay scales (9300- 34800) to TET passed teachers. A division bench of Chief Justice Justice K Vinod Chandran and Partha Sarathi heard the petitions filed by Sameer Saraswat and others on Wednesday.

Advocate Ibrahim Kabir, on behalf of the petitioners, pleaded for the cancellation of the Bihar Panchayat Primary Teacher Rules 2012, saying that this is a penal rule for TET passed teachers. The petitioners are TET qualified teachers who should be given regular pay scales. Appearing for the government, Advocate General PK Shahi and Government Advocate Prashant Pratap told the court that the issue of regular pay scales of employed teachers has already been decided by the Supreme Court. The rule which has been challenged has already been changed by the government. Accepting the state government's argument, the court dismissed the petition of the teachers.
