Breaking News: Vande Bharat will run today between Charbagh-Gorakhpur from UP Lucknow
Latest Updated 09/07/2023: The first Vande Bharat Express with eight coaches will leave from Lucknow for Gorakhpur on Sunday. This train will run in both directions six days a week except Saturdays. The train will meet at platform number nine of Charbagh. It will stop between Lucknow to Gorakhpur only in Ayodhya and Basti.
After leaving Charbagh, the train will reach Gorakhpur via Malhaur, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Katra, Mankapur, Gonda and Basti. From bottled water to snacks and food, arrangements will be made for the passengers during the journey.
Train number 02549 Vande Bharat Express will depart from Lucknow at 7.15 pm and leave Gorakhpur at 6.05 am to reach Basti at 6.58 am and Ayodhya at 8.15 pm to reach Lucknow at 10.20 am. In the return journey, leaving Lucknow at 7.15 pm, it will reach Ayodhya at 9.15 pm, Basti at 10.30 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 11.25 pm.
Preparing to reduce the fare up to 25 percent The Railway Board is preparing to give some relief in the fare for the railway passengers. Vande Bharat has announced a discount of up to 25 percent on the basic fare including AC chair fare. For example, the AC chair car fare from Lucknow to Gorakhpur Vande Bharat is Rs 1005. The basic fare is close to eight hundred. In this, the fare will be reduced by 25 percent i.e. around Rs.200. The new fare notification will come into effect soon after its release.

Gorakhpur to Lucknow seats full, waiting 30
Vande Bharat, which ran between Gorakhpur and Lucknow on Sunday morning, was full on the first day itself. The commercial run of this train is starting from 9th July. People are very curious about this train. By eight o'clock on Saturday night, 30 waiting reached in the chair car of Vande Bharat Express running from Gorakhpur. Whereas, the executive chair car also has three waiting times after it is full. On the other hand, 251 seats were vacant till eight o'clock on Saturday night in the chair car to go from Lucknow to Gorakhpur on Sunday evening. And 12 seats have been booked in the executive.
