Use of Calculator banned in UKPSC AE Exam latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 01/07/2023: Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has banned the use of calculator in the written examination of Uttarakhand Combined State Engineering Service Examination-2021. The written examination (objective type) of Assistant Engineer will be organized by the Commission from 13 - 18 August. The admit cards for this examination are to be uploaded on the website of the Commission on 29 July.
Assistant Engineer's written exam will start from 13 August
Girdhari Singh Rawat, Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission said that under the Uttarakhand Combined State Engineering Service Examination 2021, an advertisement was issued on September 1, 2021 for the vacant posts of Assistant Engineer. In which the use of non-programmable simple battery operated calculators was implemented for the candidates as per the conditions of the instructions given in the question paper. But taking the decision, the Commission has decided to ban the use of any type of calculator for the candidates in the written examination of Assistant Engineer. This examination will be conducted at the examination centers set up in the cities of Haridwar, Roorkee, Dehradun and Rishikesh.
