In this regard, the department has given instructions to all district education officers. Director of Secondary Education Kanhaiya Prasad has said in a letter to the districts that in the upgraded secondary-higher secondary schools, in the premises of which classes from one to eight are taught, graduate-post-graduate qualified teachers should be given priority to teach in higher classes. The department has also directed that such higher secondary schools, where there are more teachers in proportion to the attendance of students, should also depute them to other schools as per the requirement.
