DM orders not to give leave in monsoon
Chief Education Officer (CEO) Pradeep Kumar said that instructions have been given to all BEOs in this regard. Despite DM's instructions, four-five private schools were opened in the district or teachers were asked to come to school. The CEO said that even during the inspection, clear orders were given to keep the school closed. In such a situation, action will be taken against the schools that disobey the orders.

Officers should not leave the headquarters, District Magistrate Sonika has instructed the officers not to leave the headquarters without permission till 30 September 2023 during the monsoon period. He said in the order on Friday that in the event of natural calamities like floods, heavy rains, landslides, cloud bursts etc. along with relief works, services like electricity, drinking water, transport etc. have to be made smooth on a war footing. That's why the officers should remain firm in the headquarters.
