No reservation for candidates from other states in Bihar Teacher Recruitment by BPSC latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 04/07/2023: Chief Secretary Aamir Subhani has made it clear that candidates from all the states of the country will get a chance in the appointment of teachers. It would be unconstitutional to give chance only to permanent residents of Bihar. That's why the condition of being a resident of Bihar has been removed in the teacher appointment rules. However, he also said that candidates from other states will not get the benefit of reservation. Reservation will be given only to the permanent residents of Bihar.

The Chief Secretary told in the auditorium of the Old Secretariat on Monday that the condition of permanent resident of Bihar state has been removed in the recruitment of teachers being complete by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). It is not practical and legally possible to keep this condition. It is very clear in Article 16 that no citizen will be ineligible on the basis of place of birth or place of residence etc. in any employment and post under the state.
Examination calendar of six universities released
Releasing the examination calendar of six universities of the state, the education department has directed to take action accordingly. Has announced the date of commencement of examination and release of results for various academic sessions of undergraduate and postgraduate.
