Latest Updated 20/07/2023: For the first time in Jharkhand, 26,001 teachers will be appointed simultaneously. Following the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the advertisement late on Wednesday evening. For this, online applications will be taken from August 8. Candidates will be able to fill the application till September 7. Maximum restoration will be done in Palamu district. There will be restoration on more than 24 hundred posts. At the same time, 1435 teachers will be appointed in Ranchi.

11 thousand inter trained assistant professors will be reinstated


According to the advertisement of Jharkhand Trained Primary Teacher Combined Competitive Examination 2023 by JSSC, 26,001 assistant teachers will be appointed across the state. In this, 12,868 posts will be reserved for para teachers (assistant teachers). There will be 13,133 posts for non-mercury teachers. 5469 posts have been reserved for mercury teachers and 5531 posts for non-mercury teachers in the appointment of intermediate trained assistant professors for classes I to V.


15 thousand one graduate trained assistant professor will be reinstated


Similarly, 7399 posts have been reserved for para teachers for language, social science and science-mathematics subjects and 7602 posts for non-para teachers in the appointment of graduate trained assistant professors for classes VI to VIII. Assistant Professors will be appointed on these posts.


Applications can be filled till September 7. After taking online application for the appointment of Assistant Professor till September 7, the examination fee will be deposited till September 9, while the candidates will be able to upload photo and signature till September 11 and take out the print out. At the same time, from September 13 to 15, candidates will be able to modify any incorrect information except name, date of birth, e-mail ID and mobile number in the online application form.

Relaxation in age limit Relaxation has been given in the age limit for applying for the appointment of Assistant Professor. The minimum age limit of 21 years will be calculated from August 1, 2023, while the maximum age limit will be calculated from August 1, 2019. Maximum age limit is 40 years for general category, 42 years for extremely backward and backward classes, 43 years for women (unreserved, extremely backward, backward and economically weaker sections) and Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste women-men. The maximum age limit has been kept for 45 years.

25,500 and 29,200 will get the Scale


In the appointment of Assistant Professor, intermediate trained assistant professors will get a scale of Rs 25,500-81,100 and graduate trained assistant professors will get a scale of Rs 29,200 to 92,300. Along with the minimum scale, 42 percent dearness allowance, nine percent or 18 percent housing allowance and one thousand rupees will be available for medical. In this, assistant professors of class 1 to 5 will get Rs 39,000 to 44,356 as monthly salary. Whereas, assistant professors of classes VI to VIII will get Rs 45,092 to Rs 50,270.
